I’ve been running it officially since 2018, but even before then, my neighbors were having me throw away junk. When I was a kid, my dad and I had this idea for a little junk removal business, and now, almost 15 years later, I’m still doing it.

Since 2018, we have grown considerably and hauled away more than you would believe. Over the years, our team has removed everything from couches and refrigerators to cars, boats, and even torn down whole houses! Ultimately, we have consistently happy customers, and we are excited to continue to make people happy up in Dawson County!

We here at Junk Generals are excited to be working in Dawson County. For years, our team has been providing service on an as-needed basis, mainly for previous customers. While we have not done a ton of work specifically in Dawson County historically, we still have a few great stories from our happy customers. There was one customer we had who was building a large 3-car garage with a living space above it. Initially, we told him that Dawsonville was a little far, but we were willing to go for him.

Consequently, we ended up having two guys there for about 5 hours for a small pile. Even still, we were happy to help, especially when he brought us McDonald’s milkshakes! As of 2026, we are excited to start adding more happy customers from Dawson County to our service list! Pricing

The way we charge for our service is very dependent on what each customer has. We base our prices off our costs. That means that the heavier something is, the bigger your item or pile is, or the longer it takes to get loaded, the greater the price. Therefore, as much as it is a job-by-job quote, we do have some general prices below to at least get started:

  • Minimum Pickup: $185

  • Full load in Driveway/Curbside/Garage: $650

  • Full load going into customer’s house: $750

  • Full load of heavy/construction debris: $850

Along with our normal household junk removal jobs, we are also set up to be able to handle harder-to-dispose-of items like yard waste, dirt, concrete, pianos, mattresses, and paint. Disposal, Recycling, and Donation

We have a standard practice that all of our more seasoned junk removal specialists, and our brand new ones, follow: don’t dump. Additionally, we do our absolute best to keep your items out of the dump and into people’s houses. In fact, our crew brings a ton of items to local nonprofits and charities to give your items a second life.

What’s left goes to a recycler to get turned into a new item to love. Finally, whatever’s left does go to a dump, but luckily, it is a smaller percentage of stuff than you would think! In 2025, we were able to recycle nearly 100% of our appliances!

God has given us the ability to help so many of our friends and neighbors, both with their junk removal needs, as well as just helping to generally solve problems. We are more expensive than if you haul your junk to the dump yourself, but if you value your back not hurting and not waiting in line at the dump your whole Saturday, then we are very fair.

Is anything too big or too small for Junk Generals?

Nope. We can handle single-item pickups like a couch or mattress, all the way up to full property cleanouts or home demos.
