Really, when I was just eleven years old, I, Matthew, started hauling junk for neighbors, thanks to my dad being the driver!

In 2018, I was out of high school, got all those legal things like a business license and insurance, and started really going after it. Since then, we have grown out of just Cobb County, where I started, and are excited to be adding all of Forsyth County to our service area!

Forsyth County Locations

We started in Cobb County, specifically in Marietta, but have added service areas as we’ve grown. Today, we are finally ready to officially announce that we service all cities within Forsyth County, including Cumming, Silver City, Chestatee, and even those small portions of Johns Creek and Milton that sit right on the edge! While we have not regularly serviced very much of Forsyth County historically, our team has definitely spent some time up there!

For instance, we had one customer who hired us in Cumming, right on Lake Lanier, to assist with an eviction where we piled all of the previous tenants’ items in the driveway. Because they hired Junk Generals, we could not leave it at that, so we offered and were able to come back the next day, after letting it sit out for 24 hours, and load up all that was left so our customer did not have a big mess on his hands. Additionally, our crew was able to empty the house so quickly that our customer still had an hour and a half that he had paid us for, so we got all of the carpets, padding, and nail strips demoed out and hauled away for him.

Pricing

The way we charge is very dependent on what each customer has. Two different customers may have a washing machine and dryer, and they may cost substantially different based on where they are in the garage or inside on the third floor of their house. Even though prices can vary so much, we are able to have a few baseline quotes, which are listed below!

  • Minimum Pickup: $200

  • Full load in Driveway/Curbside/Garage: $650

  • Full load going into customer’s houses: $750

  • Full load of heavy/construction debris: $850

We also handle harder-to-dispose-of items like yard waste, dirt, concrete, pianos, mattresses, and paint. Disposal, Recycling, and Donation

One thing that Junk Generals is able to do differently than other removal companies is we focus mainly on disposing of items in the most responsible ways possible. We always bring items first to a donation facility to give items a second chance at life. Secondly, we bring items to a recycling facility to give items a second life as something new. Finally, what’s left is brought to a landfill or transfer station, but that is the last option. In 2025, we were proud to be able to say we recycled almost 100% of our appliances.
