Our Story

Looking for reliable Murray County junk removal? Junk Generals is a local, family-owned junk removal business now serving Murray County! Back when I was a kid, I had an idea to have the most classy, upscale, and exciting job I could think of: being a trash man. I wanted to ride on the back of those big smelly trucks and throw trash into the back.

When I turned 11, I saw some neighbors throwing out some old wet carpet, and I realized I could start hauling junk now. Not quite the same as trash, but it would do. Well, in 2018, I was out of high school and still hauling trash, so I decided to put my original job idea on the back burner and really start this junk business. I got insurance and a business license, and went at it. Now, 8 years later, we are still hauling junk, and lucky enough to be able to service mostly all of North Georgia, and we’re excited to now be expanding that service to Murray County.

Murray County Locations

We have been hauling, throwing, carrying, and disposing of trash all over North Georgia for years. For instance, we have done everything from hauling off an old boat in Marietta, to demoing a brick fireplace in Cartersville, to removing railroad ties in Ellijay. We love what we do and we love where we service. Because North Georgia is our real favorite place to work, we made the decision to add a new county to our map.

While we do not have any stories of happy customers in Murray County yet, we are excited to announce that we are now serving all the cities encompassed in Murray. That will include everywhere from Chatsworth, Eton, and Tennga, to Spring Place, Carters, Ramhurst, Hollytown, and Crandall. Ultimately, we can’t wait to see what all Murray has to offer. Who knows, our new favorite lunch spot may be a small place in Ramhurst or Eton. We are absolutely thrilled to now offer Murray County!

Pricing

The way we charge is based on a few factors, making it somewhat difficult to give a blanket price sheet. With that said, there are a few different factors that are the same across all of our pricing structures. Basically, we have a minimum fee; in Murray County, that would be $225, so it won’t be less than that. From there, depending on weight, amount of labor it’ll take to complete, and size, we can curate a quote for each job on its own.

A good example is a bookshelf full of books will cost a different price if it’s in the garage vs. in the attic. With that said, we do have some blanket load prices. These are listed below:

  • Minimum Pickup: $225

  • Full load in Driveway/Curbside/Garage: $650

  • Full load going into customer’s houses: $750

  • Full load of heavy/construction debris: $850

We also are able to handle harder-to-dispose-of items such as yard waste, dirt, concrete, pianos, mattresses, and paint. One thing about our prices is that you can always trust you are getting a much fairer quote than when you work with a large corporate franchise, as you won’t have additional franchise fees!

Disposal, Recycling, and Donation

We are dedicated to doing the right thing with the items we get. You can trust that your junk won’t end up on the side of the road somewhere. We always try to donate items first so they can get a second life as designed. If we cannot donate, we recycle items to give them a second life as something new.

Finally, whatever’s left ends up at a legally established landfill or transfer station. With that said, we are able to recycle an insane amount! In 2025, we were able to recycle almost 100% of our appliances, and we don’t plan on stopping that any time soon!

Our main goal is simple here at Junk Generals, and that is to honor our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in everything we do. With that said, we are able to do that by using the gifts He’s given us to remove distractions and problems from our customers’ lives. You’re not gonna find a cheaper solution than doing it yourself, let’s be honest. But past that, we are definitely less than your doctor’s bills from hurting your back attempting to move your dining table through your house and to your truck! In all seriousness, we are generally able to work with most any budget, at a minimum, helping our customers make a plan to get their junk out.

Is anything too big or too small for Junk Generals?

Not at all. We’ll show up for a single box in your garage, then come back to knock that garage over and grade out the dirt below it!
