Looking for reliable Neels Gap junk removal? Home to Mountain Crossings, the legendary outfitter where the Appalachian Trail actually runs straight through the building, Neels Gap is one of the most iconic stops in Union County, and Junk Generals is proud to serve it. If you’ve ever driven through Neels Gap, you’ve probably stopped at Mountain Crossings, the historic 1930s stone building that’s outfitted thousands of Appalachian Trail hikers since the 1980s. It’s one of our favorite landmarks in Union County, proof that even out here in the mountains, there’s history and character around every bend. Since 2018, Junk Generals has grown from a one-man operation in Marietta into a full-service crew covering nearly all of North Georgia, and remote mountain areas like Neels Gap are exactly where we like to be. We’re a small, family-owned, faith-based crew—not a big franchise, not a stranger with a truck. When Junk Generals shows up, you’re getting the same care and attention to detail every time, no matter how far up the mountain the job is.
