Serving the Forsyth Side of John’s Creek

We are here to serve all of Johns Creek with a smile. No matter what you have, we can handle it. One of the things that we are well known for is being able to haul just about anything, so you don’t have to shop around and find the right guy for each part of the job. Junk Generals is the right guy for the whole darn thing.

  • Appliances: We can handle them all, from washers and dryers, built-in refrigerators, commercial kitchen appliances that are huge and heavy, all the way down to small toasters and microwaves.

We are also set up with the classifications and licenses to haul many hard-to-dispose-of items. Whether it be paint, gallons of gas, propane, mattresses, or tires, we have it down to a science.

What Happens After We Load Up?

We get this question all the time. Customers are always wondering, basically, if all the stuff we just hauled off is going to end up in a ditch on the side of the road. Of course it won’t! We have too many happy customers and good reviews to risk it all just to save a few bucks on dumping. We have 3 things we do with the items we get:

  • Donating: This is always our first step. This is the best-case scenario because it allows the items we hauled to be loved by another family just as it is.

  • Recycling: This is the next best option as it stays out of the landfill. We keep this as number two because it has to be reduced to its components to be rebuilt as a new item, so while it’s great, it’s not as good an option as donating.

  • Dumping: This is our least favorite option. This one is the end of the line for the items, as they just end up in a hole covered up with dirt. But when we do go to a dump, we always make sure that it is a legal landfill or transfer station.

So in summary, no need to fear that your items will be dumped on the side of the road; you can rest easy when Junk Generals is on the scene.

Pricing

There are a number of factors that go into coming up with a quote for your individual job. Prices range based on how much stuff you’ve got and how heavy it is. We also have to take into account things like distance; for example, a pile in the driveway will almost always cost less than the same pile in your attic. With that said, we have a few pricing metrics that we base pretty much everything on:

  • Minimum Pickup: $185

  • Full load in driveway/garage (ready to go): $650

  • Full load still inside/around house: $750

  • Full load of heavy/construction materials: $850

This should help you with an understanding of how we quote, but we always recommend you reach out to us about your specific pile to get your own curated quote.
